Arguing on this forum

I don't use too many forums, but DPR Sigma is one of the ones I regularly come back to as I own a few Sigma cameras and like the simplicity of them.

I do find that there is a lot of arguing on this forum and I am not sure why. It seems that one set of people are always trying to justify Sigma cameras, and another set are forever trying to knock down Sigma cameras.

As I have stated, I don't use too many forums, so I don't have a very big yardstick to measure them against, but certainly the other forums I frequent have users that are much more supportive of eachother.

Why does this forum tend to attract this sort of behaviour, or is it quite typical of forum topics and discussions?
