Your personal view on a CPU

I have an 8 yr old desktop computer that is kinda messed up and showing it's age. It is a Northgate STAXP 207 - specs - AMD Athlon XP2200+ 1.79 Ghz Maxed out with 2GB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive with Windows XP.

I saw an ad today listing 3 different desktops, all going for half the cost or less, of what my old one cost me 8 yrs ago.

All of them have Windows 7 Home Premium; 1 TB HD; and 6 or 8 GB RAM.

-- Lenovo w/ Intel Pentium Dual-Core G620
-- HP w/ AMD Quad-Core A8-3800 APU
-- Lenovo w/ Intel Core i3-2120

Would appreciate your view / opinion on the above 3. I know absolutely nothing about CPU's.
A new computer will be used for photography organizing and pp. No games.
