I had the 14-42mm X and I shot with and without the IS -- one of the early purchases right after release in USA as part of GF3 kit. I tested on my GH2. I never had blurry or double images but the IQ in terms of sharpness was much much worse than my 14-45 and 14-140 from about 25mm to 42mm. I returned it and waiting for another ...
