Epson 1280 problem
Jan 20, 2012
|
I've had the Epson Stylus Photo 1280 for years and have printed hundreds, maybe thousands, of photos with it, but recently I was in the hospital for several months and the printer was inactive. Now I can't get even close to a decent print. I've tried the head cleaning and nozzle pattern functions many times to no effect. I suspect there is a stubborn clog somewhere that needs manual, probably professional, cleaning. Can I do this myself or do I need to send it out? Or should I just accept that the printer has lived out its life and buy a new one? Here are a couple of recent attempts. The pale pink one was first, then several with the blue cast.
