Sigma 50-150 OS ???

Anyone here have any idea what happened to the "new" Sigma 50-150 OS lens that was announced by Sigma one year ago. I've been holding my breath (money) for this lens but must confess I'm turing blue and am about to give up and go with something else. It has also been removed from their web site. What gives?
