55-210 zoom ring, like the 18-55?

I agree with you. I have the 5n with kit lens + 55-210mm+16mm. The telephotos are ultra smooth. The one thing which seems to have been missed by a lot of critics is Sony have cleverly (whether by foresight or coincidence) made these lenses 49mm thread. This enables interchange of filters and Cokin system so much quicker, more convenient and lighter to carry.

I am in my 70's and found it a chore to carry around a Canon EOS system with lenses each requiring another filter size and corresponding step up/down adaptors etc. Let alone the weight of it all.

Photography has become a pleasure again with Nex. I now have to move a miriad of bits and pieces on EBay.

However some stuff will go to my daughter and other to help pay for the Sony. Thankyou to that Company.
