Nikon V1 - 10-30 or 10-100 lense for Video

Hello all;

New to the site but not to dpreview (I have lurked here for years!) or digital photography.

I recently bought a Nikon V1 with 10mm pancake lens. The camera is mainly for use by my wife to photograph / videograph our two kids (6 and 4).

I would like to hear from those of you who have both the 10-30mm and 10-100 lenses on their respective video performance. By all accounts 10-100 is great with video however, it is big and heavy (on a relative basis). How good or bad is the video on 10-30mm?

Any / all insights are greatly appreciated.
