that is nonsense
if you want a square you can simple crop a 3:2 to square..
the differents of a square sensor and a 3:2 image cropped to square is only like a fullframe vs a x1.25 crop camera (apcs is x1.5 crop)
I made a quick comparison for you in photoshop i wonder if you actually ever thought about it..
