Is the V1 & FT1 adapter a viable replacement for having a cropped camera?
Jan 15, 2012

I'm thinking of getting a V1 and FT1 adapter for those times when I need a crop camera which consist about 10-15% of my shooting. I'm pretty committed to keeping an all FX DSLR kit, so I'm not too interested in getting another DX camera. I figure I'll also use the V1 as a walk-around body when not used for work.

I'll most likely use it with my 70-200 VR-II and 400 2.8 VR. What do you guys think? Is it worth it or am I better off getting a DX body instead? Thanks!
