Considering M9

I'm new to the Forum. Leica R5 & M6 user for 20 years (35F2M & R, 50F2R, 90F2.8R lenses used), but I'm considering buying a Leica .digital M9. I've used an entry level Nikon DSLR (kit lens) for a couple of years to get familiar with digital photographic concepts.

I only anticipate using digital images on a 10" digital photo frame - using probably just a Leica 35F2M lens.

The M9 seems very expensive compared to the equivalent R5 & M6 prices back then.

Do you all think that the increase in image quality from Nikon to Leica will justify the high price tag ? I miss the Leica experience but £5,000 GBP ?
