Landscape focus question
Jan 14, 2012

Hello. I mainly shoot indoors and kids but want to venture out and start doing some landscape shooting. I was reading that when using say f22 to focus 1/3 of the way into the scene for best results if u want most of the picture to be in focus. I shoot in m mode most of the time with center point focus. My question is exactly how to actually focus for best results. Would I just try and determine what a third of the way is, center pont focus on that subject then recompose or is there a better way or better alternative to center focus points.
