Night Sky test...

Kit Lens 10-30mm ISO 1600 and 3200. Approx 13 sec exposures. Some significant LR3 work to make the saturation as I wanted it. Experimenting really.... A fast lens and ISO 800 would yield superb results, but hey...this is OK by me

I'll try this again as I needed to shoot ISO 1600 and about 8 to 10 secs really. The stars had started to trail, which softened the image. Manual focus can be trial and error to get it spot on too. Reducing noise was no problems, but again I had to sharpen a lot because I wasn't working with the best files I could have achieved....extra sharpening = extra grain.
All things considered I will definitely do this again another night.
