Light From the Darkness - HDR Image/LX5
Jan 13, 2012

After a day of heavy rain in Western North Carolina, the weather front finally moved out of the area, allowing the setting sun to pierce the remaining ominous clouds.

Three individual images ("normal" exposure, -2 exposure and +2 exposure) were taken in aperture priority mode (f/5.6), using Auto-Bracket. The three images were then combined, using Photomatix Pro HDR software, to create this image. ISO 80. Vibrant Color film mode. Automatic white balance. 35mm focal length equivalent of 90mm.
