A week later: My NEX-7 and the 4 lenses I bought

Last week my regular camerashop had 1 NEX-7 and 1 Zeiss 24mm in stock so I bit the bullet and traded in my Canon 7D DSLR and all my lenses.

First I bought the Sony α NEX-7 and the Zeiss Sonnar T* E 24mm F1.8 ZA. A great combo. I also bought the Sony E-mount 30mm Macro (haven't really used it yet) and the LA-EA2 and the Sony A-mount 50mm f/1.4

2 days later I also bought the Sony E-mount 18-200mm because I was on sale (€549, normal €799), but haven't really used it.

After two hours shooting with the 50mm f/1.4 I decided that this lens wasn't for me. Loud, not really pleasing Bokeh and with the adapter large. Also manual focus wasn't easy with this lens. So I exchanged it and bought the Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50mm ZF.2 with the Novoflex Nikon to Nex adapter.

This last combo is a great one. With the focus peaking and the magnification manual focussing is a breeze and the build and image quality of this lens is great.

The two Zeiss lenses are with me all of the time and both give great results. Maybe I will get the LA-EA2 later on with a Sony Zeiss zoom. But for now this works for me.
