Printer Tie-Breaker
Jan 8, 2012
|
I'm looking at a printer to do smaller fine art prints on-demand (looking at setting up an Etsy shop). I've come down to these two:
Epson Stylus Photo R2000 - I like that it offers roll printing, although at this juncture I don't do sweeping panoramas so it's not a must.
Canon Pixma PRO9500 MKii - great rebate on offer for this, but I've seen some complaints about it not printing borderless on non-canon art papers. Although others seem to have found a way around via custom profiles.
Anyone have experience with these specific printers? Thanks in advance!
Most images will be either travel or art images in the 8x10-11x14 or 12x18 ranges.
