Getting a feel for the new 35mm f/1.4's DOF

I'm stupidly excited about the the new X Pro 1 Fuji and am seriously considering selling whatever equipment necessary (film or digital.. I've not decided yet!) to fund it.

I wanted to quickly get a feel for the kind of DOF possible with the 35mm f/1.4 compared to a traditional full frame 50mm - a quick look at the online DOF calculator tells me that wide open, and with the same 50mm composition as full-frame, the new Fuji 35mm f/1.4 should give around the same DOF as a 50mm set to approx f/2.

Are my calculations ok or am I well off?
