Yeah, true. You're right on both comments. The other disadvantage of vintage lenses is you lose accurate metering and the use of the D-range optimizer, correct?
Also I think I will enjoy the capabilities of a 35mm and 50mm, and I had a 135mm, but didn't like that too much. I'll have to go to my zoom and see how a 100mm or such works.

Kristopher, the list that William posted only helps if you use a FF sensor body. If you use any Sony bodies other that the A850 or A900, you have to remember that an APS-C sensor body adds a 1.5x factor. Besides, the lenses that William uses are probably more than than what you want to spend.
