Colour v B&W. Sometimes B&W has a transformative effect. Sometimes colour is distracting and the idea is better found in the form and texture.

It's hard to justify upgrading from the GRD I when it's so good.

Thank-you. The land and sea feel that they have greater mass than the sky so having more sky created a better balance.

Thanks for your comment. Also, the two shots were taken opposite each other, one looking in the other out so the mirroring of waves has an extra (hidden) meaning. I agree about looking at them large, but I just realised that the seascape is blurred despite the 1/100 the shutter. It was so cold that I think I rushed at the last moment. Nonetheless, I thought it worked well as one of a pair.
