New series

I have a new series coming out in a few days That I've been playing with for awhile. "The art of images" I've decided to try a series that has a no holds barred approach to PP. Well almost, I do have no watermarks, but that's just because I hate them and it's my challenge.

There will be rules about size and boarders are required. Here are a couple of samples I'm working on.

"Processed fruit."

I don't mean the kind in a can, I'm talking about doing something fun and crazy with photoshop!!!

"Over saturated (red) to perfection!"

Push ONLY THE REDS as far as you think you can go, and still have people vote for it.

"The "eyes" have it."

Do something with eyes!!!

These are the rules,

Start with your own photo.
1600 pixels on its longest end.
BORDER is required and must include title and your name.
NO watermarks.
Nothing sexual. Sensual is OK, just don't be crude.

Post processing/photoshoping is required. Let your mad computer skills go to town.

Here is a sample I put up for the fruit one. As far as I'm concerned, people can submit a face with a banana nose if they want, I don't care as long as it's tasteful. I'm all for letting the voters decide what they like.

No capture date rule so I should get more entrants, but there are PP rules so I'm sure there will be DQ'ing, but it will happen on a daily basis and not after a challenge is over. I'm hoping it's something people can have fun with, but we will see. Most people just want to upload something they already have worm fuzzes about that they did a year ago. I myself am trying to expand my skills both with the camera and the computer.

The goal is to have one series that is about the camera and another that is about the entire process. I'm winging it folks so if they don't work then I'll move on but even if only a few people enter and they get something out of it then I'm happy.
