D7000 consumer camera
In reply to michael2011, Jan 5, 2012

After several months of over thinking the truth is truth. The D7000 is a consumer camera and it produces results in its realm. It is not as reliable as others.

I am happy with it but I paid just a tad over one thousand dollars for it. If I was a professional photographer I would pony up for the D700 or D3's. Truth is the D7000 is good enough for my current needs.

I am sure nikon could have made this camera better. Truly more accurate autofocus and better exposure. Sensor blows up in some cases when it just does not make any sense whatsoever. Again is it "unreliable" It is all good with me... I'll just bracket exposures and be happy I paid only 1k for it

(No sarcasm, I am being brutally honest)
