Technique(s) to get a steady shot with LX5
Jan 4, 2012

I have trouble to get a steady shot with LX5. I knew that when I pressed the shutter button. LX5 is so light, compared to Canon XSi which I shot side-by-side with, and with arms stretched out, I just could not hold the camera steady. Wonder if anyone has good technique(s) to share? I took the following shot at Lake Tahoe on New Year's Eve. I like the composition but not its blurriness (and the slightest hint of contrails).

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5
