Best pancake for a beginner

I've been taking full body and even waist-up portrait with this focal length going back to my film days (minolta cle with 40/2:0). It may not be the traditional perspective, but it's interesting.

In my experience with the 20/1.7 I found a bit of a lag using it with my E-P2, but not at all with my E-PM1.
