Memory card class & HD video
I was reading the Canon Powershot S100 manual on the Internet (I don't have it yet), and it said to use a SD card of class 6 minimum for the full HD recording.
But the card that comes with the camera is only class 4, and when I told the sellers about the 'class 6 minimum' issue, they've never heard of it.
Can someone clear things up? If class 4 really does work then my theory is big manufacturers like Sandisk make their cards outperform their class.
Canon probably includes a card sufficient for taking still images since video isn't the primary function of the camera. As for your sellers, its suprising they're not up to speed on the issue (pun intended). But you can get 16GB Class 10 SDHC cards now for less than $20 so why not just buy a fast card?
