The conditions didn't favour the 50D. I really should have taken the 7D, but because it is less than a month old, and it was so cold outside, I took the back up 50D. If I knew I was taken shots of the bird in flight, I would have taken the 7D, but I was pretty sure it would be a static shot hence the 50D.
