Kit lens distortion

The 18-55 NEX kit lens isn't too bad but if you're doing a lot of people type pictures it will cause some serious perspective distortion.

The feet here are about twice their normal size and I've noticed similar problems with many pictures.

Naturally a lot of this can be avoided by increasing the focal length but then the lens gets slower and the light has to be a lot better.

I really hope Sony gets the 50mm 1.8 lens on the market by the end of February. It should be a little more portrait friendly.
