50D, 300 F4L IS + 1.4, F5.6, 1/1000, ISO 400. It was very cold, windy and overcast, so I took the 50D out instead of my new 7D. I was able to walk right up to him on this pole and shoot straight up.

Why did the conditions favor the 50D over the 7D?
