Safari

Hi,

I have the Olympus E-PL1 and am looking for a lens appropriate for a safari, ideally costing no more than c. £400. I wondered what thoughts people had on the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4-5.6 O.I.S, or whether there is a better alternative on the market?

Also, it has been suggested to me that I purchase an adapter and purchase a non MFT lens. Again, thoughts welcome re type of lens, quality given mix and match
