Superzoom or Micro Four Thirds?

I have a DCM-TZ7 and like it for what it is. I am considering to get something to complement the pocket camera and hopefully learn more about photography.

I have been looking at DMC-FZ45, 48, 100 and 150 for a few weeks but than I started looking at Micro Four Thirds.

Could I have your opinion if I should choose a FZ150 or a G3 (or other specific cameras in either category).

Is the larger area of the sensors in the Micro 4/3 worth the higher costs?
Is the build quallity that much better?

Is the handling of a FZ without the need to carry around multiple lenses what I should strive for?
