Single point focus help?
Dec 28, 2011

This might be a ridiculous question, so please bear with me. I've been experimenting and playing around with the D7000 different Auto-focus systems and I'm pretty impressed. But, is there anyway to auto-focus on one specific object that might not be picked up by the auto-focus censor points? I realize I could always use the single point auto-focus for this, but what if the object I want to focus on is outside the parameters of the focusing frame in the viewfinder? The single auto-focus points don't move past those parameters. I also realize that I could use manual focus, but my eyesight/judgment isn't that great all of the time, so I'd hate to have to rely on that.
Thanks!
