Interchangeability of Olympus and Panasonic flashes
Dec 27, 2011

Sorry.... I posted this in the Panasonic forum, but haven't gotten any response. Maybe the general m4/3 forum is better.
I've invested slowly into the Panasonic m4/3 cameras for travel/personal use and I just recently got the FL360 flash. Of course, I wasn't aware that the Olympus FL-36r flash is the same and Panasonic seems to have just re-badged it. From what I've read, the Olympus FL-36r flash also offers the advantage of wireless capability.
Can others confirm that:
1. The FL-36r should be fully functional for my Panasonic cameras; and
2. The FL-36r does offer more advantages.
Note that my wife has the Olympus Pen camera, so while I might not benefit completely from the FL-36r abilities, I would think my wife could.
Any comments appreciated! Thanks.
