85mm 1.8 in a gym filter question

For those who shoot with the 85mm in a school gym - do you use an FD filter or just adjust your white balance pp? I know the lights cycle so the shot color may vary. My lens should be arriving next week and my 1st chance to test it will be Jan 7th. Looking to get some pointers to accelerate the learning curve. Thanks!
