K-7, Need help with custom settings-6 on Menu (item-37)

Merry X'mas to everyone here.
Just playing with menu-custom settings-6-item 37 (AF adjustments). Can someone pls explain how to use this settings/or customize this settings. I have kept it on. When you click on arrow it takes to another settings....say Apply all and Apply one. Right now it is set to 0. One can change settings from scale of -10 to +10. Is this for adjusting AF on lens when we have issue with focusing ? Any input highly appreciated.
