Best Tool For Organizing Videos

I have Lightroom 3 now for photos and would like to use it for videos. The problem is LR3 shows the capture date on the videos as Dec 31, 1903. I tried updating to 3.6 but it didn't solve the problem.

If I move to another tool, what is your recommendation? I'm not concern with editing video for now, just want to make sure I categorize them.
