Canon Pro-1's Color Management Tool Pro???
Am looking for a replacement for my third B9180 that finally shot craps and my short replacement list contains the Canon Pro-1 and the Epson 3000.
The Pro-1 has Color Management Tool Pro software that can be downloaded for calibration and ICC profile creation. Mentioned in the advertising is that this can be accomplished with several different colorimeters (pucks) such as the iOne.
My question -- since I own a couple of iOne pucks -- is ANTHING ELSE needed in addition to the Color Management Tool Pro software OR does Canon mean that an entire color calibration system -- the puck and its accompanying software must be used with the Canon software? I ask because my i1 pucks are used to calibrate my NEC MultiSync monitor and came with it.
