Astro noise reduction also seems to remove hot pixels from normal exposures. Further testing needed to see if there are unwanted side effects. I have 1 hot pixel at ISO 100 and several more as the ISO increases on my D200. Have been using Pixel Fixer to remove but now NX2 with Astro Noise Reduction seems to take care of them without needing a third party program.
Interesting, just leave the Color noise reduction top slider at 0 and check the Astro Noise Reduction box, hot pixels disappear.
