DXO Review Help Please

Trying to decide what lens to get. I'm renting a 24-70 this weekend but my guess, from handling it in the store, is that I'll find it too heavy. My equipment now is:
D90
18-105 good outdoors stopped down
85/1.4D love it but too long indoors
35/1.8 good indoors
Tamron 70-300 VC
Rokinon 10.5 fisheye

I've been curious about Zeiss lenses. I'm thinking of the Zeiss 21mm 2.8 as it seems to get raves and it would be great indoors for portraits (am I right?) and landscapes. I will also probably end up getting a D7000 for low light eventually. I looked up the lens on DXO and ,unless I don't understand the site, they aren't terribly thrilled with this lens. I'll rent the lens too.
Can someone please tell where and if I'm wrong? Any advice is appreciated.
