Broke down (like my t2i) and bought a 7d

t2i 16 months old, crapped out last week. Going back to Canon for repair & resale, probably to a family member w/ a good discount.

Even with 7d mk II due up within a year couldn't resist the 7d prices picked up a new one, used credits on account, so ended up for $970 out of pocket for new 7d and two 8GB Sandisk 60GB/s UDMA CF cards.

Decided on 7d as my primary fun interest has been sports. Going to local football/baseball/basketball games and snapping for fun. Have a 70-200 f/4 L

Figure the mk II will be $1699 at least when it comes out and if needed I can sell 7d and upgrade.
