which zoom lens to combine with 15-85mm

Since about 6 months I own a Canon 60D, with a 50mm lens, and a old tamron zoom. I have decided to go for the 15-85 mm from Canon, but am not sure with which telezoom to combine this lens. Telezoom will be mostly used outdoors for landscapes and animals.
Any suggestions will be appreciated
Doesnt need to be a Canon. Should I go for a lens that can be combined with a teleconverter?
Max budget will be about 600 euro.
