Program mode vs. Aperture mode
Dec 20, 2011

Back when I was using my DSLR, I typically left my camera in aperture priority. This worked well for regular shots and with a speed light.

Now that I'm mostly using the V1, what option would work best, especially given the lens performance, the shallow DOF due to the sensor size.

Aside from auto mode, would option give me the best shots. I'm not sure how the lens performs wide open, or what is the sweet spot.

If I don't use the flash for indoor shots, I have a tendency to open up the aperture as far as it goes, but I may be limiting myself and the quality of the pictures.

Given the camera's strengths and weaknesses would I be better served in program mode, or aperture priority.
