Viewfinders DX vs FX

After reading how good the viewfinder is in a D700 I finally got to try one today and it absolutely blows the one in my D90 away. I understand it is a pro camera compared to my consumer version but why can't Nikon put something better in their pro DX camera, D300S?

Do you think it could be inc,used in the D300 replacement or is there a reason it couldn't ?

I wonder when it will come since all talk about the January releases are the D4 and D800?
