Legacy lenses are a major reason to get a Nex 5N or 7. I've had Leica M glass for 10+ years and none of it is de-brassed. I haven't even seen a 'user' lens for sale, except at KEH? There are also less expensive Zeiss and VoigtLander lenses that work exceptionally well. One word, well two - focus peaking! All of the other incredible pluses, aside, that alone's worth getting a Nex. Works great on older Nikon MF, and any other MF lens you might have.

By all means, get it for legacy glass. Buy the best MF lenses, you can afford. In the long run, the camera body's the cheap part.

IMHO, the E-Mount glass is very good for the price. I've got it all (except the 50mm f/1.8) and, if you check around on the web, I'm not alone in that opinion.
