Lightroom 3.5 darkens imported photos?

Got it.. so whats closer to the true representation of the color.. LR or NX2? Which is right, or which is wrong?

I would assume as you describe, NX2 will show what the camera produces LR will show what it "thinks" it is. So how do I get LR to get "proper" as that is where I do majority of PP.. does one need something like Spyder? I have PS and it shows the same darker version of the picture as LR does.

sorry for the confusion, newb here. I just want to get my photos right so when I print them or send off for printing they come close. Right now, they dont
