Whole-day animation from K-5
Dec 16, 2011

I created a time-lapse animation from before dawn to after sunset. I took shots at 1.5 minute intervals, with a total of 450 - 675 minutes or 11.1/4 hours. That gave an animation file of 60MB, which was too big for PBase - this version has half the shots deleted so the interval is 3 minutes. Even that is too big for DPR so here's the link. It takes a while to load but then it goes round quite quickly.

You can see a jump mid-way through where I changed batteries; the original DNGs needed a lot of compression to fit the animation so the sky is badly posterised. I don't know why the brightness kicks up and down in some places.
