astronomy lens/telescope

I have a Canon 7d and was wondering if there is a decent astronomy telescope that can be used with it to take planet shots? I'm not up for thousands of €, but a couple of hundred maybe. Any suggestions thoughts? I have a 300mm f2.8 and a 1.4x, so that makes equivalent of 700mm; maybe this works?
