7D Image quality.

7D Image quality.

Hi folks.

Anyone one else think the image quality of the 7D is soft, I have taken some shots at my local rugby union club using a Mk1 70-200 f2.8L IS and was a little dissapointed with the sharpness of the shots when compared to the 40D that I had previously. Anyone have any suggestions or tips how I can improve the sharpness as I think it will be the 7D and not the Lens.......thanks.
