Wonderful Mahesh. Enough resolution to look for ants on the logs at 100% crop. How big have you printed your 645D shots, BTW?

Thanks, MC! So far, the largest I've printed is 40" x 60". It's still amazingly sharp at that size. Two important lessons I've learned is that it's immensely important to have a steady tripod and to use mirror lockup (with remote release). This is doubly important because I now hove to use apertures much smaller than in 35mm format to achieve the same depth of field. Consequently the exposure times then to be longer. The slightest misstep in technique can negate that beautiful power of a sharp lens and a 40 MP sensor.

Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
