Nex 5N - High ISO in Auto ISO settings??

Coming from a Canon DSLR (40D) where I set my ISO based on where I was taking photos, the auto ISO settings in the Nex 5N seem to be really high.
I took a few indoor shots with decent overhead lighting both with and without the flash and was surprised at the high ISO.
I know I can set it manually and have configured one of the soft buttons to allow me to quickly change it, but was wondering if there were others noticing the same thing.
Any thoughts?
