Canada to withdraw from Kyoto
Dec 13, 2011

A$$holes, bloody Conservative government that we have

Peter Kent said the protocol "does not represent a way forward for Canada" and the country would face crippling fines for failing to meet its targets.

He said the cost of meeting Canada's obligations under Kyoto would cost $13.6bn (10.3bn euros; £8.7bn): "That's $1,600 from every Canadian family - that's the Kyoto cost to Canadians.

Always putting Canada's interests first
Not even thinking about what Kyoto means to the global situation as a whole.

They are too lax and un-commited to meet Kyoto then just reneg on the whole deal...simply to avoid fines and actually having to DO something about it.

What a blood copout.........

Canada used to be a world leader in environmental conservation and global it's becoming a lethargic passenger on the world stage.

"It is a small gesture, but one that can be very effective - especially in a large crowd. So fart, and if you must, fart often. But always fart without apology. Fart for freedom, fart for liberty, and fart proudly" (Benjamin Franklin 'The Dream' 1751)
