I think Olympus is oversaturated and oversharpened

I used to have an E-P1, which I sold. I think the default on that camera was to render images as very punchy looking. Just crank up the saturation, contrast, and sharpening to match that.
I personally prefer photos that are accurate and true to life, and I'm generally quite happy with the G3 at its default settings.
I have never noticed what some people claim is lower color accuracy. In the review on this site they stated that "color rendering in the red hue can be inaccurate." I was in Italy recently, where there's lots of red around (clothing, flag, tomatoes in the market) and never noticed any problem. Everybody sees colors differently, and it's in the eye of the beholder.
