Sony support in Canada my experience:

They work their best and do great work. Someone always calls me back when they say they will, and are very helpful and courteous to deal with.

The problem is they have limited resources and repairs take a very long time (they just have to ship it off to Toronto no matter how small the repair is) so support is slow and unnecessarily burdensome to the consumer, although the support staff do their very professional best with what they are given.
